"If marriage is your path,

"Finally, a relationship/marriage guide that is told by the true experts.
I have to give Mathew Boggs and Jason Miller credit; it isn't every day that I will wholeheartedly approve of a marriage guide.  These two bachelors may seem unlikely prospects for marriage advice, but the reality is that they spent weeks touring the U.S. looking for marriage experts, experts they call the "Marriage Masters."

"Marriage Masters" do not hold fancy PhD's or work in busy practices, these are the people who have been married for forty or more years.  They've faced the ups and downs of marriage and have only come out stronger.  Jason and Mathew have turned their stories into a book that leaves the reader with a tear in the eye.

Any person thinking of entering into a marriage truly need to purchase this book.  I've been married for sixteen years. Despite other people's warnings, I married a man twelve years older and was only twenty-one at the time.  I remember a good friend telling me that he was only after "breeding stock" and that the marriage was doomed.  To this day, she now credits herself with setting us up.  How quickly the tides turned!

Given this vantage point, I can tell you that the advice found within Project Everlasting is accurate, honest, and guaranteed to create a successful marriage if followed.  I've known too many people who got married because the sex was amazing or because they were spending all of their time together anyway, but those items should be bottom priority.  Do yourself a favor and pick up a copy of Project Everlasting and learn from the pros!

"How much can we use
a juicy, healthy, big-picture dose of what makes a marriage last? And from two sincere guys with a big vision and refreshing sense of humor? Read this fresh, creative, and inspiring guide to find out how good it can get! Mat and Jason could easily become the “Click and Clack” of long-term commitment!"

BEYOND BRAIN WAVES (Book Reviewer)
"They traveled the states looking for "Marriage Masters", couples who had been married fourty, fifty, some even sixty years and interviewed them about how they made their marriage (and their love) last.

Covering Respect, Commitment, Patience, Acceptance, and other basic but elusive Eternal Love necessities,  the two handsome childhood cronies discover their misconceptions and naive assumptions are fueling their own broken love stories, and even learn a lesson in love from their own friendship.

Little annoyances like chronic tardiness or a sunflower seed addiction can short-circuit any relationship, and this one is no different. Fortunately, they dissected the cause, and the solution in light of the amazing journey they are on.  This experience is shared with readers in the spirit of eternal love/friendship.

At first, I was expecting a book filled with deep, philosophical, hard-to-grasp concepts, and psychobabble. I read the literature and thought, "Usually the sales info is more fun to read than the material itself. " I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the writing, and totally engaged in each and every story.

This was a delightful and, at times, emotional suprise. Skillfully written in modern terms, the stories laid out by the "Marriage Masters" is translated into vibrant mental pictures by the authors, Mathew Boggs and Jason Miller.  Each bachelor embarks on an inner adventure of his own that becomes the central "distraction" from the moving, touching, even tear-jerking love songs and lullabies of the ages.

With a suprise ending, this proved to be a riveting and very satisfying read.  Not to mention the timeless truths laid out for you within the stories of everlasting love and devotion, occasionally interupted by life in real time.

Spoiler Alert: Several of the chapters brought me to tears, my personal faves were Grandma on the beach, and Last Dance. Grab the tissues before you get to the "Last Dance" chapter, it's a real doozy.

“Mat Boggs and Jason Miller
have raised a question that is in the minds and hearts of people everywhere. These guys are lighthearted yet serious-minded at the same time. They have a tremendous appeal not only for younger people but have the ability to get in the minds and hearts of people of all ages. In an entertaining way, it sends a message people really need to hear.”

"Where do two 20-something commitment-phobes find a role model for a lasting, loving marriage?
Mathew Boggs and Jason Miller hit the road to interview couples whose marriages have lasted 40 years or more to discover their secrets. The result is a book of wonderfully told tales about ordinary couples who’ve beaten the odds to stay married a long, long time.

Mathew Boggs and Jason Miller went into the project believing that, while the world may have changed, the problems facing married couples today remain the same: money, kids, in-laws, and tough times. And they believed they could learn something from the elders. Their respect for their “subjects” is evident in every paragraph and their view of older folks is transformed. The authors even found similarities between the interviewees’ relationships and their own friendship … plus the answer to one of the book’s five central questions: How do you keep from driving each other nuts?

Project Everlasting
is an uplifting book that often brought tears to my eyes. Not because the stories were sad, but because they were so sweet, often bittersweet.

Project Everlasting
would make a great gift for grads, newly engaged or married couples, or those celebrating anniversaries from 1st to 65th. I can’t imagine a person who wouldn’t find hope and inspiration in Project Everlasting
While I was reading Project Everlasting, I kept picturing a documentary about the authors’ travels. Sure enough, when I looked on their website, there is one!
