The Christmas Parable--A Family Tradition

There's a tradition in my house that every year on Christmas eve my brothers, sister, and I would gather around the living room floor and listen to Grandma Dorothy read the Christmas Parable.

This story helped teach my grandparents as well as us kids about the true meaning of Christmas.

As a kid it was something I had to endure before getting to the good stuff (the presents), and now I realize that listening to this story from Grandma Dorothy is the good stuff.
