Jason Miller

Age: 30

Locale: Orcas Island, WA

Relationship Status: Single, In Love, and Happy

Favorite Food: My Mom's Lasagna, the Reel Inn's Chilean Sea Bass, and Grandma Miller's mashed potatoes and gravy

Sign: Pisces through and through.

Family:  Dad (Merlin), Mom (Mary Jo), brother Greg (who did most of this website design with me), brother Kevin (fighting enormous insect beasts in Paraguay for the Peace Corp), sister Anna (married, the first to do so in my family!), and sister Cara (who thinks she’s a better soccer player than me).  I'm the oldest child, not necessarily the most mature.

Dimensions: Taller than Mat and bigger feet, too

Hobbies: Snowboarding, fly fishing, watching football, going to clubs and not dancing, sitting at my computer all day long, buying books and not reading them all the way through, sarcasm, watching good films, making good films, river floating, drawing little critters like Bunny Wuv, Chucky Chipmunk, or Boffo the Bear, humoring myself, etc.

My PE Why: I originally got involved with Project Everlasting not because I cared about marriage or love or commitment or, to be honest, women, but because one of my best friend since third grade, Boggsie, was the one asking me to help out.  In fact, when we first started this project, I was one of the leaders of Relationship Cynics of America.  But Mat was excited and I saw it as a good opportunity to do something that "sounded pretty cool."  Since then, my heart has shifted.  Dramatically.  I don't think it's possible to not have a change of heart when you sit down with a hundred couples who still truly love each other, even after 40, 50, 60, 70 years.  My current Why, or purpose for doing this project, is to become a man who is capable of being an exceptional husband.

My Why is to share the lessons about true, lifelong love and devotion that I've learned from all of these extraordinary couples with as many people as possible.  I'm dedicated to building the PE brand, inspiring people all across the world to believe in lifelong commitment, and to help people in the Relationship Cynics club to do the same thing I've learned to do...open my heart and love.

My Life Vision: To laugh daily, to love generously, to maximize the possibilities of my God-given gifts, and to empower the highest positive potential of my friends, family, and community.

Additional Project(s): The Aching Man

Mathew Boggs

Age: 30

Locale: Portland, OR

Relationship Status: Enchanted, In Love, and Happy

Favorite Food: California Burritos from Santanas, Nik San's Sushi, and Olive Garden's bread sticks -- yum yum.

Sign: Scorpio, but the sexual thing is just in the stars...or is it? ;)

Family: Dad (Haven) and step-mom (Linda), Mom (Mary) and step-dad (Joe), Brothers (John and Rich), Sister (Jenny) and Seven Super Fun Nieces and Nephews.

Dimensions: Shorter than Jason, but a bigger brain :)

Hobbies: Snowboarding, surfing, dancing, watching football, hitting the church scene, hunting for waterfalls, chillin' at coffee shops with the crew, getting in crazy long debates over spiritual matters, controlling my seminar addiction, looking for my future wife where ever I go, going to the gym but never finding her there, creating songs on garage band my nieces can sing to.

My PE Why: Some little kids dream of being astronauts, others professional baseball players. Not me. My dream was always to have an incredible love story. Okay so it’s out there…yes I’m a total romantic. I’ve always been interested in finding "The One,” so naturally I’m gripped by the topic of love. But when I was 14 years old and my parents divorced, I felt like I had been blindsided by a Mac truck. I never saw it coming and the shrapnel from their separation blew apart any believe I had that lifelong love was possible. That is until I saw it in these couples…particularly in my grandparents. There is no greater purpose in life than to learn how to love. That’s why marriage is so perfect, because there is no greater challenge to the learning of love than to dive head first into a life long commitment with another human being.  I want to fulfill, for my future kids, the dream I lost as a child—that one day they could bring their family to grandma and grandpa’s (me) house, one house, one home, for Christmas.

I do want to say that I believe that God has called me to do this project in a very special way and that I am on this mission for more reasons than I can possibly know in this moment.

Finally, I am doing this to honor my grandfather who passed away two years ago, but while he was living, showed me that true love stories are possible.  And for my grandmother, my best-friend and my hero, who teaches me to stretch past my fears and dig deep into courage on a daily basis.

My Life Vision: Inspiring others to be ever-expanding expressions of Love with others.

Additional Project(s): Mastering the Law of Attraction
